Restore.
Helping athletes and performing artists achieve a balanced relationship with food & body.
Our story
A former professional dancer and collegiate athlete, Maura and Emily are still actively involved in the dance and sport communities. They met working as clinicians at an eating disorder treatment center in 2016 . After continuing to work together in private practice they becan to recognize the lack of specialized treatment readily available for athletes and performing artists struggling with mental health and disordered eating. They founded Restore in 2023 with the goal of helping athletes and performing artists across the country achieve a healthy relationship with food and body.
Nutrition without obsession
Being properly fueled allows you to be at your best, both physically and mentally. Using our nutrition expertise, we will help you learn to improve performance through optimal nutrition without falling into obsession with food and your body.
Connecting mind & body
The focus and drive to be the best takes a significant toll on our mental health. We have experience working with athletes and performers through the unique pressures they face to help them learn to thrive in both sport and in life.
